This large painting was created using wax resist, w/c inks and pastels. My Daughter and Granddaughter.
Mother and Child images are my very favorite to paint and sculpt. As a mother of two children some of my best memories where from the births, thei growing up. That closeness that a mother and child have is never ending. My mother used to say "Once a Mother Always a Mother"
This piece was a study in shadows and color. Painted on paper board in water based paints.
